Intrusion

Two metal tubes of sinuous, sensual curves embrace and interlace in space, gripping at their centre a stone sphere of organic texture. The work gives material form to the meeting and the friction of foreign elements coexisting in a tense but harmonious balance. The coldness of industrial iron is humanised in dialogue with the warm roundness of the stone, turning invasion into a perfect plastic symbiosis.
