This work moves towards a deep symbolic and conceptual exploration in which matter engages with myth and with pain. It presents a horizontal structure held on fine supports over a metal base, in which thorned branches interlace to form a piercing crown. Perched on this ring of thorns rises the dark, watchful figure of a raven, modelled with a dense, harrowing texture. The piece directly evokes the passion, the sacrifice and the historical charge implicit in its title, turning forged iron into a territory of memory, resistance and sacred melancholy.
