Influence

This work explores lightness and dynamic balance through a rigorous construction in iron. Open diagonal supports converge to hold aloft an organic, fragmented volume made of curved metal planes crossed by fine rods that project the form into space. The dark surfaces and subtle textures give the piece a weightless yet imposing presence. The heaviness of the iron defies the laws of gravity.
