Complement

Complement moves along the border between the printmaking of Mirta Reinaudo and the sculpture of Claudio Ruiz, proposing an intimate dialogue between the printed mark and the three-dimensionality of metal. The work unfolds across two vertical panels that bring together the print and the plate it came from, both joined subtly by metal bars and filaments crossing the empty space between them. The graphic textures, deep and full of contrast, engage directly with the organic forms and metal profiles, generating a harmonic tension of attraction and resistance. It is a piece in which the two-dimensional plane of the paper is enriched by volume and shadow, turning duality into a symbiotic, poetic encounter.
