Charon

Charon takes as its reference the mythical ferryman charged with carrying souls to the other side. Without depicting him literally, the work evokes the idea of transit, of the boundary and of the passage into an unknown dimension. Its vertical structure and suspended elements generate a sense of tension and movement. The stainless steel brings a contemporary dimension to this ancestral reference. The sculpture is left suspended between two states: what we leave behind and what is still to come.
