Fleeting
A large vertical plane of iron holds a deep central fissure with incandescent edges, ending at its upper tip in a small fluted sphere surrounded by thorns. The piece evokes the fleeting passage of a meteor or a stellar flash tearing through the darkness of space. Dense matter takes on lightness through the dynamism of its form, freezing in metal the transience of an unforgettable cosmic instant.
