Light

Light is born of a contradiction: a stone, symbol of weight and permanence, appears held by a metal structure that seems barely to contain it. The work makes gravity its protagonist and turns weight into a question of balance. The metal does not dominate the stone; it establishes with it a dialogue between tension and care. The title suggests that true lightness may consist not in having no weight, but in finding what is capable of holding it.
