Offering

On a vertical axis of dark iron that opens at its base to reveal small internal profiles and is crossed by hanging chains at its midsection, a luminous cup is raised. In it rests an organic, fluted form pointing skywards, protected by an upper arc of metal chain. The work gives material form to the sacred act of giving, fusing the heaviness of industrial structure with the warmth of an intimate, earthly ritual.
