In Dialogue

In In Dialogue, Claudio Ruiz and Mirta Reinaudo give material form to the intimate exchange between artistic languages through a construction in iron and woodcut. The work rises from a solid star-shaped base to be crowned by a metal structure resembling a series of open envelopes, out of which woodcut prints of strong graphic contrast emerge. The textures of the beaten metal and the welds engage directly with the printed mark of the engraving, turning the piece into a three-dimensional message. It is a poetic encounter in which rigid matter becomes a receptacle for memory and communication.
