This imposing vertical axis of dark metal stands in the room like a contemporary ritual marker. The sharp pieces that cross it like antlers or guards give the column a strong defensive, totemic presence. The work connects the tradition of ancestral monuments with the roughness of present-day ironwork, imposing a respectful silence on the space around it. The title stays in Spanish because it is a palindrome, reading the same in both directions; the second half means “New Totem”.
