Ballast
Ballast explores the weight of matter and of memory through a construction in polychrome iron. It is built out of industrial elements — a pulley marked with its load capacity and a textured hook holding a cluster of organic spheres — condensing the tension between the force of heavy labour and the delicacy of a suspended form.
