Fragility

This work subverts the logic of materials in order to speak of the most intimate heartbeat of existence. A large metal egg, cracked and iron in texture, holds the mystery of an imminent birth on a fragile net of supports that open like feathers in the wind. The work exposes the delicate armour with which life protects itself: a fine balance between the protective strength of the shell and the absolute vulnerability of origin. It is a metal testimony to that sacred tension in which all new life begins.
